We provide a complimentary sample service. Typically, a Table Knife, Table Fork and Dessert Spoon in your chosen pattern are posted to your address, whether in the UK or overseas. We can send multiple designs and combinations — for example:

• Old English and O.E. Fiddle Stainless Steel with maybe all three Cream Handle Knife options (Rounded or Square Handle, Curved or Parallel Blades)
• Heavier weight Plain Fiddle with a Cream or Black Handle Knife and also Rattail maybe standard and heavier weight with Pistol Knives

No. The sample service is free of charge, and we cover the postage to your address in the UK or overseas. The only cost is the return postage when sending the samples back to us.

Yes. Our Special Offers page features two classic designs with various knife options available at specially discounted set prices.

UK orders:

• Stock items: 2–4 working days
• Non‑stock items: 2–3 weeks

Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & Rest of World:

• Stock items: 4–7 working days
• Non‑stock items: 3–4 weeks

Trade orders: Lead times vary depending on quantity, but typically 4–6 weeks.

• UK orders: VAT at 20% will be charged.
• Export orders: VAT at 20% will be deducted (zero‑rated).

Worldwide delivery under 10kg is normally via FedEx at approximately £90–£150. Import duties and taxes may apply in your country and are your responsibility.

The code is 8215.20.00.00. This will appear on all invoices along with the other required export information.

The Cream and Black Handle Knives are made from Cast Acrylic Sheet, and no glue or adhesive is used in their construction. Yes — these knives are genuinely dishwasher safe.

The stainless steel composition is:

• 62% Iron
• 18% Chromium
• 10% Nickel
• 10% Carbon (No copper or aluminium is used.)

The easiest method is by Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) or Debit Card, please call us on +44 20 7731 7135 and we will process your order and payment. Alternatively, payment can be made by bank transfer, and we will provide our bank details by email.

In the very unlikely event that you are not happy with your cutlery, we will replace or refund within 30 days. Our stainless steel cutlery is extremely robust and will last for many decades.

Regarding the Cream and Black Handle Knives: They have been dishwasher safe for over 12 years, and approximately 99% have performed perfectly during this time. For the very small number that develop a fault, we can replace the handles. A small charge applies after 3 years.
